Dear Student,
It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to Oxford College on behalf of the Coordinator, the professors of the college and the many support staff.
At Oxford, we are a dream team. We work together to inspire our students to build up their career and transform themselves into decent people. More often than not, we see that students who leave Oxford after some years with us are not the same individuals who enter it; they are transformed in the process. For this, we strive to give them numerous opportunities to develop their individual interests and to cultivate their talents through enrichment, engagement and extra-curricular activities. They are empowered with the skill of converting every challenge into an opportunity.
You might be aware that Oxford has been a success story with a long tradition of outstanding results, teaching and scholarships which has duly enabled it to be one of the best colleges in Nepal. But success has not spoiled us our need to prove ourselves. For nearly three decades successful experience in school, +2 level and lately at the graduation level programs, we have been constantly effortful towards making Oxford a center for excellence and at the same time a students friendly college.
We expect that you will give your serious consideration to Oxford College while deciding what and where to study thereby becoming part of our long standing tradition and sharing in the excitement of learning and advancing knowledge.
A system based on the unique weekly test concept, and the active support of an extensive program of co-curricular activities, the college mentor/ counselor and coordinators makes our college special as well as outstanding. We constantly take pride in the excellent caliber of our staffs, and the professionalism and support of our Board of Directors.
Here at Oxford we try and provide a supportive environment for your studies. The college at times invites distinguished experts to speak on various issues to update the knowledge of students and motivate them to be confident in life. Oxford offers a number of seminars. Each of the seminars reflects the research interests of the professor teaching the course. It also offers a wide range of workshops and tutorial sessions for those who wish to improve their skills. We have a well-equipped library with its best study space. All of our rooms including the cafeteria are equipped with Internet access.
